Hello! Compulsive gambler for almost 10 years, around 30k in losses, in recovery for about 4 months. Writing this post to tell some tips I havent seen here or I may havent searched enough.
Before trying online gambling, especially slots, do this. Play 10 days straight the demos. They have the same % as the real thing, you will see how against you EVERY slot is.
YOU ENTER THEIR HOME TURF, YOU CANT STEAL ANYTHING FROM IT (this applies to EVERYTHING THAT IS GAMBLING). Even if you win some, you get the hook and then when you come back they strip you naked. YOU CANNOT go against them, otherwise they would be out of business.
Please better invest that 10$ on anything or buy yourself something that will bring you joy. Don't give them the means to hook you with non existent bait.
