Wheel opinions anyone?

I’m going for roti RSE +35

These images were made using photoshop. I have yet to lower the car to.

I’m stuck between gloss black and gunmetal.

I think gloss black looks the best in terms of matching the black optics package, but i’m honestly stuck on whether i go for gloss black or gunmetal. I think silver is out of the question, i think it’s to much in your face but thought i’d add the photo anyways. I also have a gloss black M style spoiler on it now to (the photo used for photoshop was an older photo).

edit: after looking at the photos more and more i’m definitely swinging hard towards gunmetal 😍

DIY brakes

I’ll be doing all my pads and rotors all at once, as far as i’m aware it’s pretty straightforward, the only iffy thing is the rear caliper park brake but I have OBD11 to retract it/put it in service mode, that’s basically it right? the front calipers are just the usual piston pushing?

My main question is has anyone used these? Powerstop K7253, Z23 evolution sport brakes. The rotors are drilled AND slotted. I would normally stay away from drilled because of cracking however according to powerstop they have a 36 month / 36k miles warranty. Which is the only reason i am considering these.

I’m also ordering a new pad wear sensor because i’ve heard I should replace the actual plug everytime and it’s only like 5 bucks.

sooo uhhh on Saturday i had the wear sensor come up telling me to change my pads. I was super confused because i just had my summer tires put on and was told they checked my brakes 8mm and 7mm.

Next day, the dash warning was gone and has been gone until today (Tuesday) when it came up again. I am confused because these wear sensors are triggered by the wire being cut by the rotor, so how the helly did it reset itself and not come back on for 3 days? Bad sensor?

Anyway i’ll be getting the pads inspected again this week. And if my pads are A okay, does that mean i should replace the sensor because it’s gone bad? and is there a sensor on every pad or just the front axle?

Exciting news. i finally have an issue with my 2018 S3 gen 3 ea888. It’s been 2 years to perfect lol, it’s about time. Cylinder 2 P0302 (intermittent). It happened right after the initial warm up period this morning, once the revs dropped, about 30 seconds after the revs dropped, I got the rough idle almost like the revs dropped to low for a second. Slight cabin vibration and i could feel it through the brake pedal. No check engine light or nothing, i drove straight away after it happened and no issues for the 30 minutes of driving, even ripped it after it was warm and nothing felt off.

Spark plugs, coil packs and PCV was replaced in september last year, so pretty recently. 119k km on the car right now, carbon cleaning time maybe? ChatGPT says to wait it out. I have obd11 so I was able to get all the data, and according to Chat, it’s not a big deal unless it happens again/gets frequent? Obviously i’m not relying on AI for this, but at the same time I think i will wait it out and see. No check engine light or flashing CEL while i’m driving. I have NOT cleared the intermittent code, so if it happens again the the techs can easily identify what’s happening.

Here to ask, any thoughts? Can’t be compression because it would have happened more during my morning drive, maybe injector or carbon cleaning is what i’m thinking. I might move some coil packs around this weekend too just to be sure.

UPDATE: It’s the next day, stone cold start, no misfires, no nothing. Took it for a rip, nothing. No rough idling, and to top it off it’s snowing right now so it’s even colder than it was yesterday, if it was a compression issue it would have misfired this morning. Audi and euro shop told me to chill now, unless it happens again.
