Hi everyone,
Yesterday was the last class of the semester with a Professor I really appreciated and had regular talks about the class and the like, I was leaving the class and said good night, he didn’t hear me but I also didn’t leave when I said that, I went back in class to go to a friend and talk to him. Then when I left with my friend I didn’t say good night again, because I thought the Professor heard me but couldn’t say anything back because students were asking questions at him.
So I felt like a bum driving home and decided to text him an appreciative message in regards to having the last lecture with him, and he responded with “Thank you for your kind words, I am very happy that the class was useful to you, Don’t be a stranger 🙂”, Is he pointing back at that moment in class where he thought I didn’t say goodbye to him or am I misinterpreting this?
