It was like 20 people. Ig calling it a walkout and holding it during finals prep turned out to be not great for turnout.

On other notes: I support their message today, being pro-workers rights. But calling it a “walkout” was rlly dumb imo. Walking out of classes you already paid for is like ordering food on an app but not going to pick it up. You already paid for it, you’re not doing anything by “walking out”. Call it what it is, which is just another protest.

Also, this whole shit abt not buying things for ONE day pmo too like wtf is that going to do if people are stocking up food and everything before hand, they’re just going to be spending the same amount of money overall. Like I saw people saying like “hit them where it hurts in their pockets” but like, spending the same overall is not hurting any company. It’s literally doing nothing.

The phenomenon of people doing things, just to make themselves feel like they’re doing something, not caring if it’s actually doing anything, is so weird.
