I've been reading on this list for about six months and have commented on a few posts, but I thought I would finally share one of my own finishes. This is a small design called Merry X-mas. The original artist is unknown, although I suspect was taken from an old Christmas card design from. the late 1800s or early 1900. I picked this pattern because I wanted something small that I could finish relative quickly as a new Christmas design for my house. <laughs> It took me a little less than 5 years, and 2 changes of fabric before I was finally happy enough with it that I was able to finish it. The final version was worked 1 x 1 on 25 count pre-gridded fabric by Zweigart using DMC floss.
