Just finished a two year battle with marsh thistle in this area. Was in this area a couple weeks ago, maybe three, and this wasn’t here. Now it’s everywhere. Conflicting IDs from iNaturalist and Google etc.

The former is saying wild Angelica, the latter multiflora rose.

Unfortunately I thought it was multiflora as that’s in the area and pulled a number by hand (no gloves). Then noted the stem didn’t feel woody at all and no thorns so stopped and looked it up. Saw the ID for wild Angelica and aborted mission. Rinsed hands in creek then came back to house and thoroughly washed several times.

I guess if I get blisters I’ll have my answer lol, but would like to know how to tackle this to remove if it is in fact, invasive. In eastern Canada.
