Looking for a Hall Effect Xbox XS controller
Every year I find myself replacing a controller due to joystick drifting. I called a repair store to find out that their repair process is $75, but they replace the joysticks and buttons with "Hall Effects." Never heard of this before, so I did some mild Googling and it sounds like I'm better off just buying a brand new hall effect controller. It sounds like these are all third party, so I imagine there's a near-infinite amount of options. I would appreciate it if you guys could help me narrow it down, and posting a specific link to the product would help me out more.
I will be using this to play on PC/Steam. Bluetooth/wireless preferred. I don't need anything fancy, like having 100 extra buttons. I prefer something closer to the original controller design and no weird shapes or designs. Budget doesn't matter, just recommend whatever you think is best.
