Hi everyone, I’m 18 and planning to attended a community college for an associates in automotive technology and pursue a career in the automotive repair industry. To get myself some experience while I attended school, I am about to start a new job in 1-2 weeks at a local automotive repair shop and work there throughout my time in college and thus far. My experience may not be the most at the moment but the owner of the shop said he’ll teach me everything I need to know. So, what I am asking this awesome community for is any advice and tips for working on vehicles, in a shop environment, and anything that may be useful to me as I pursue this opportunity.
