So about a week ago I commented talking about how my larvae keeps surfacing. I checked it agian and his leg is gone! And black! I changed his substrate earlier this week so I don’t know what’s wrong with him? He is only staying on the surface constantly going round and round with his missing leg. I have no clue what to do bc I’d say hi substrate is adequate, it’s an adequate tempature, but I don’t know what’s wrong he wants! Help! (He’s also in his L3 phase

So this is my L3 Phase stag beetle I got in February. I recently just changed his substrate and he just sits at the top of my desk (the rooms usually dimmer/just lamp light) but he’s not in direct light. I just found him like this and I’m not sure if somethings wrong bc he’s not moving unless I turn on the light!
