I inherited a person that I don’t like. This person admitted to me rather quickly that they don’t like me either. I have not shared my feelings with the direct report bc that is unacceptable and unprofessional. I have tried to work with this person but they are now doing these small acts of microaggressions on a regular basis. I have worked with this type of person before but never managed them. She knows exactly what she is doing and is so gracious to others but ignores me in direct communication. I have asked for support multiple times from my boss and don’t receive it.

It is very isolating. I love my job. Not my one of six direct reports.
