Enclosures

Enclosures

My L3 Giant Asian Mantis is in this 32 oz deli cup with mesh lid right now. Paper towel I change often and a baked branch.
I have a medium enclosure I plan to move him to when a little bigger. Maybe a paper towel and a little Coco husk and a couple branches. Screen mesh will be added to lid and at least one side.
And then I have this large enclosure that has clay balls, screen, coco husk dirt with spring tails and isopods, moss and leaf litter, an orchid and I’ll add a few more branches as “ladders” on one side. Currently it has wire mesh but I will remove and replace with screen mesh . Thinking screen mesh on one side also.

Do these enclosures sound good?! Are there any recommendations , changes, advice anyone with experience has to give me?

Thanks!!! I really want to do well for this little one!

Humidity and molting

I am a fire time mantis owner. I’ve had an L3 giant Asian mantis for three days. “Wasabi” is in a 32 oz deli container with a baked stick and a paper towel at the bottom. It is the same cup fly cultures come in so it has the mesh top. I’ve been Misting the cup twice a day. It gets bone dry pretty quickly. I’m unsure if I am doing enough for humidity. And I am wondering if I need to mist often once I notice him molting. What signs will there be when he molts? How often do they molt? Thanks!
