I can’t understand why people are so obsessed or against a C8 being a daily driver. It’s a mass production car. Mine is in the sub 100k price point. There is nothing special about it at all other than it’s mine.

I really don’t care what people think of me daily driving mine to work in the rain, Texas sun, and whatever comes our way. I’m just confused on the people who garage it to just sell it down the road at a depreciated value.

I’m not criticizing, I truly want to understand the mindset of it. Is it because you have a bunch of cars you rotate through, trying to maintain a pristine C8 for sale later, something else?

I have 1LT Stingray. Love the car. As far as gadgets go, it’s all I needed. However, is there a way to squeak a little more HP out of her without voiding the 7yr/100mile warranty. She’s got the performance exhaust so she sits at 495hp currently.
