7/1 Lease Takeover - Prime Downtown 1bd ($1650)

Leaving Epic and ending my lease a month early. This would be an entirely new year-long lease with the management company, starting July 1.

- $1650 rent in the heart of downtown
- $200 optional monthly charge for underground parking
- Top floor unit facing inner courtyard, very quiet
- Separate pet lease required if applicable

Planning to leave Epic soon for a new job, which I have an offer for. New job gives me flexibility to take a little gap before starting.

Am I obligated to put in my minimum required notice immediately after signing? Or can I sign the offer and set an end date a little further into the future, while giving my TL a heads up?

Redbook seems ambiguous on this.
