I've owned an NIU Kqi3 Pro for the past 3 years. It's served me well, but needs repairs now that are costly enough for me to consider a replacement. I've enjoyed this scooter and want something similar going forward (for commuting to work and around town). Here's what I'm looking for (not all of these are deal breakers):
- Would love a little more power to tackle hills
- 20mph is great, don't need to go faster
- Would love something a little lighter (Kqi3 Pro is 48 pounds I think?)
- 20-30 mile range
- Would love suspension for a smoother ride
- Possibly solid tires because I live in an area with no repair shops and am not good at replacing scooter tires
- Reliable
- Price range under $1,000 ideally
- A front headlight and possibly blinkers
From posts that I've seen, people generally like Segway F3 and Unagi? Stay away from Apollo? Would love to hear any and all opinions, best if you own one with personal experience. Thanks.
