Dear All,

Need your kind advise. I wasn't able to pay rent due to heavy medical expenses the last two cheaque payments had bounced. My landlord gave me an Eviction Notice to pay within 30 days, and I paid him almost 80% of that amount. Now we had a talk in his office, and he threatened me that the police will come to the apartment, cuff and take me in front of my family.

Would this happen? I am really worried now. My contract ends mid of next month and I have promised him that all dues will be paid before it but seems like he is not settling for it.
