Does anyone know how to get cheats working for the Beetle Core on Retroarch.

I have a Retroid pocket 6 with retroarch. I am using the beetle core with the latest patches and updates but unable to get any cheats to work.

I load the game, select the Saturn cheats and activate them. I also tried different processes to activate them such as setting them before selecting the game.

I also made sure I applied on activation is selected too as well but no luck.
