As title says, I have been laid off and can’t find a sponsor for three months now, so we have decided as a family to leave the UK and go to our home country. We are in the process of moving, and it’s breaking our hearts that we are forced to leave after spending 4 years and starting a family here. Any words of compassion from fellow people who managed to push through these emotions? What perspective helped you to manage the move (as hard as it is with packing and figuring out finances…) ?
Thank you!
EDIT: Thank you all so much for the kind words, I will try to go through each comment, but overall maybe this is a blessing in disguise as some stated. We will try to power through the move as that’s the hardest part right now. We have already made up our minds about leaving, and I hope we get some good closure at the end.
