For some background information and HOW I think my Guinea pig got hurt:

I have two Guinea pigs and a rabbit that live in my bedroom (separate In closures) - The rabbit is actually wild, my cat brought it up to me still alive and well so I've kept him as a pet! His name is Rome.

The Guinea pigs are named "Pigga" and "Girl Pig" Girl pig is actually a boy, he just has very feminine features lol!

Now, I'm aware your not meant to have a rabbit and Guinea pig around eachother. But I can't help but feel bad for Rome as he's by himself most of the day, so I've been letting Rome play with the Guinea pigs. Pigga doesn't like Rome so I don't really let Pigga and Rome play together, girl pig had taken on a mother roll which was so adorable! And yes, I always supervise them when they play.

Anyway, a couple days ago Rome was in the Guinea pigs in closure playing (while I was watching) and he has sharp nails, there not unbareable obviously but they definitely do scratch you! He was jumping around and he used girl pig as a railing so he could have his hands on something and not fall while looking around. Girl pig freaked out and ran away. Which I thought "well, I would be a little weirded out too if I was a Guinea pig and a random rabbit came and used me as a railing"

Then yesterday afternoon, my mum and I were playing with the girl pig and giving him scratches, we found a medium sized cut on his back. I'm wondering if it was due to Rome??

My mum wont take girl pig to the vet because "it's $70 just to book an appointment" 🙄🤦‍♀️ so I really don't know what to do. I'm not of age to have a license and even if I was I don't have a car as my mum will NEVER let me drive her car.

Is there any advice someone could give me? Girl pig isn't showing any signs of stress or even pain. He's still drinking and eating so that's amazing but I want to know if I can do anything to help him?

Another cause could be that both my Guinea pigs are boys and they do tend to fight. But I don't think Pigga could've made that scratch on girl pig. Idk.

Thanks everyone.
