I have a couple of records which I think would benefit from a record weights to help them be flatter on the platter. As they're a pain to use currently due to them being not flat.

I have reloop 7000 mk 2 and the technical documents suggested weight is 800g. Am I mad in thinking that sounds heavy?

"Record weight: recommended 800g"

Have I missunderstood? What is the rationale for that weight eg. What happens if I get something lighter? How does that compare to using a weight on 1210s for example? Would be good to have something that is sensible for if I play out...

Thanks for any advice and suggestions!

I have a Phillips Oneblade and use it to shave my face using a 1mm guard, my issue is that I find to get something looking even I have to go over areas lots of times and especially under my jaw it is quite hard to get even. I guess this is down to the design to some extent of having a flat shaving surface on a non flat surface.

For achieving similar results does anyone have another suggestion for shaver, available in the UK?

I am a year into my vinyl DJ journey and wanted to shout from the rooftops.... there is so so so much cheap old amazing music out there.

Reach out to people on discogs that have collections you like, give some flattery to them and ask them to help you find the nuggets in their collection. It is so much more satisfying and saves you a fortune.
