Complaint Regarding Excess and Unclear Meta Ad Charges
While running ads on Instagram, I am clearly shown the advertising budget before proceeding. I carefully select the budget within my spending limit, and after selection, the applicable taxes are displayed. Since the total shown amount falls within my budget, I proceed with the campaign.
However, after the agreed amount is deducted, Meta later charges additional excess amounts that were neither clearly communicated nor authorized by me at the time of purchase. This is misleading and appears to be an unfair billing practice.
This is not the first time I have experienced excess deductions from Meta. I have faced similar unexpected charges previously as well. As a customer, I expect transparent pricing and accurate billing based on the amount shown before confirmation.
I request that Meta to:
• Investigate these additional charges thoroughly
• Provide a complete billing explanation and breakdown
• Refund any excess or unauthorized deducted amount immediately
Charging customers beyond the displayed and agreed amount damages trust and creates a very poor customer experience.
I hope this matter will be resolved fairly and promptly.
