We were friends (potentially romantic interests at some stages) and they kept telling me that they care. We talked almost every day and met regularly and in my opinion it was a deep connection. Yes there were many conflicts. But one day they just didn't reach out anymore after another conflict. Like zero, even though I expressed what they did hurt me. They even left me there without discussing it through. I am still shocked how self centered someone can be and wonder whether everything before was just their mask. Are such selfish and extremely cold cuts a normal thing for autistic people? Dropping people like trash without explanation, after making them feel they mean something to them?
