I’m so proud of how this turned out! The HSTs were definitely a learning experience (thanks to all the people here giving good tips)! This was supposed to be a Christmas present but some family health issues + other WIPs caused me to take a bit of a hiatus. But I finished it in time for my mom’s May birthday instead 😊🌻
The free pattern is the Carpenter’s Star 3 yard quilt from sewcanshe, but if you’re prone to mistakes, I would suggest getting slightly more than a yard for each fabric. I had some close calls with cutting and trimming but had exactly enough to make it work.
