I am one of the IMTs. Looking to apply for HST training in Round 3 (Round 2, July-Aug’26).
I am planning to book my PACES in Diet 3.

Previously, for HST training you could sit in the nearest PACES diet going on whilst Offers were being offered and could get the NTN if you could pass eg people sitting in Diet (Jan-April) got training numbers if exam passed before offering date in April.

But for Round 2 they have changed this.
And now to get the training post for round 2 which will be offered on 20th oct you need to pass PACES in 2nd diet (June-Aug)

Should I apply for Round 2 and prepare for PACES in hope of getting PACES results before 20th Oct or it’s not worth it.
anyone has any insight?
