I'm fairly new to detailing and last night I came across this q50 from a friend of a friend. As you can see they needed a carpet cleaning/extraction bad. Now I'm not sure if my process is not correct or maybe I need something stronger chemical or suction wise but I don't think I made much of a difference in the before and after pics. What I did was vacuum, blow with tornador, vacuum again and then I sprayed Koch Chemie green star diluted 5:1 used a drill brush and then used my bissell little Greene machine to extract. The water was coming out like mud and no matter how many times I passed over the spots it kept coming out the same color and in the end I feel like I was just spreading it. After some research I've realized green star isn't meant for carpets and little Greene machine sucks for detailing so I've looked into Ripclean better extractor kit but I'm not sure if it's any good. I also don't want to spend 1300 on a mytee since I'm barely starting out. I would like to know where I messed up, what chemical products to use, what extractor or kit I can use for more pick up or better cleanings. I want any and all advice I can get.
