In SOTR we learn how the arena scenes (and even the reaping) are manipulated for the audience to hide any acts of rebellion. So my question is, why 24 years later in the HG, the scene with the berries is shown at all? I mean wouldn‘t it have been possible to just manipulate the material so the changing of rules after Cato‘s death would be left out? People would only see Katniss and Peeta being the last ones alive and then hear the announcement of their victory. IMO the capitol fired the rebellion themselves by putting so much focus on the berry stunt. What do you think?
