What do I go to college for?
I, a 17 year old junior in high school, have been trying to come up with a career path and college plan.
A bit of background information: I have never had a job, and I don’t have my license. I am going to get my license before I get a job because my handicapped uncle lives with us and my mom can’t drive me to and from work. Additionally, I am unable to walk to and from anywhere due to where I live.
I recently looked into being a special education teacher or just working with handicapped kids or adults. On the other hand, I am a gothic person who plans to have many piercings and tattoos and colored hair and so on and so forth. So, I am unsure if I should be going into that field.
I also am someone who enjoys art and writing, and plan to write a book in the future. I understand that neither of these things are will get me far in life.
My hobbies also constantly change and my motivation constantly fluctuates.
Are there any other career paths I could take?
