I genuinely didn’t realize how complicated figuring out when to start my cycle would be.
Does anyone have a day by day timeline of when monitoring usually occurs?

They have me on a maintained birth control for right now, with the idea of starting everything next Monday.
Here’s the issue I’m running into- The Dr. office just informed me that their two closest locations are closed on the weekend, so I’ll have to travel to their other office which is about an hour and fifteen minutes away. I’m attempting to have to go up there daily on a weekend.
If we start on the 11th, it looks like I’ll definitely have to be going to that location on Memorial Day Weekend..which easily turns that hour + 15 minute ride into nearly 3 hours each way because I live in a beach town. Normally, on MDW I just park my car and don’t even attempt to drive anywhere because of how awful the traffic is.

Sooo….I’m trying to figure out when I •could• start so that I don’t run into having to drive up there on Sat/Sun of Memorial Day Weekend. I honestly don’t even know if that’s possible and it stressing me out 😭 gah.

Let me start with- I have all the money saved up for this already-

Ok- I have an expensive medical procedure coming up (good ole egg freezing). My medical insurance won’t cover much for any of it so between medications, Dr visits, testing, etc- I’m looking at spending just under $18k.

I •could• just pay it with my debit card but this seemed like a great opportunity to get sign-on bonus or something by getting a credit card and paying it off right away.

Currently have:

Chase Sapphire Reserve (got it in Fall 2024, credit limit $18k)

Capital One Venture One (had it for over a decade, credit limit $10k )

AmEx Blue Cash preferred (fall 2024, credit limit $15k)

Business cards-

Amex Blue (approved last week, $25k)

Chase Ink Cash (early 2024, $8k)

Applied for a Chase Ink Business Unlimited last week. Currently pending.

Credit score is low 800s

I love the idea of something with miles since we do travel a bit to see family. We’re also in the early months of opening a new location for our family business which is leading to more travel.

Cash-back would also be helpful given how much this is costing.

Any suggestions? Or am I better off just using that I have?
