I’m going to be purchasing a Les Paul Junior for my son and I could use some help as an ignorant non-playing buyer about differences or opinions between these two models.
On the website it seems to mostly come down to finish differences and a case difference, as far as I can tell. I’m not so concerned about the case.

Am I missing something? I’d appreciate opinions on the two different finishes if anyone feels up to sharing.
