It's just a shitty chatbot, probably some kind of LLM on the backend.
This picked the team when I have Archer, Saber, even Acheron right there, among others.
It's a flawed feature built on top of their already flawed recommendations system.
The community has many resources that actually break down why certain teams work and why you would build a character one way or another.
But instead of building guides and using community knowledge, it's all blind automation. The worst way to go about it.
Aggregated data can be wrong and trusting it blindly will not always work out. It's a nice heads up for a quick build but quickly worthless after that.
Instead, they should have put forward effort to expose the inner workings of the game to teach players how to understand it. What are speed breakpoints? Explain what AV is. What its relationship with speed? Maybe even a little calculator for builds.
Surface level players can take the aggregate data. That's fine and nothing's wrong with that.
I take issue that instead of making something deeper, for those who want to learn more, we got this shitty chatbot beta.
