Wtf is with all the...well, on brand for 40k, horrible endings I've been seeing being posted?

So I've been out of the loop on Rogue Trader for a bit, beyond knowing the Trazyn DLC came out recently, and I've just got to ask wtf is up with all the super dark ending I've been seeing recently with all your allies committing suicide? I'm assuming this was something introduced in the newest DLC? Also if indeed that was the case, is there an equal opposite "good" set of endings that have been unlocked, or are these just stuff to balance what was already there?

Update/addendum: apparently the DLC has NOT come out yet, my bad 😅

Diablo 2 takes place in 1263, according to this note, it seems the Amazon character from D2 either romanced the Barbarian character or at least tried to, which is mildly hilarious.
