Before her exit Genevieve had a really good edit. She had strategic content, emotional content, and fun content. We saw establish herself in 2 majority alliances. She got on well with everyone but Aubry.

AND she wanted to work with Aubry until she realised Aubry didn't want to work against her. She was also vindicated about being right about the instinct that Aubry had an idol once she got to the merge. We had the whole rewind moment. She found 2 idols and ultimately had the final say in their feud by giving Aubry her jacket.

From Aubry's side, she might have outlasted Genevieve, but her saying, "S#!t" as Genevieve goes home looks like a hint of regret.
