I'm looking to get a new phone and one of the main ones I'm looking at is the Poco F8 Ultra. I'm in the US so I can't really test before buying and I'm seeing things saying the OS is a major downside but not saying why.

My phone is pretty badly messed up and the Oneplus 15 was at the top of my list especially with one of the free gifts. One of the things driving me to get an actually new phone instead of just another refurbished Samsung is being able to get updates. With that in mind is it a bad idea to get one now or should I get something else because my phone now is falling apart?
From what I've seen on display stuff I'm not a fan of the UI for the Pixel and when I used an iPhone I ended up liking a Samsung way more but battery is important to me. I was gonna get an Oneplus but them possibly pulling out of the global market made me back away from them.
I use T-Mobile with battery being one of the biggest things to me. Wireless charging would also be a big plus but I have a z fold 3 and the speed isn't a killer to me so I don't need the fastest if it'll be getting updates for a while. I do have a budget of 850$ max.
Sorry for messy formatting and stuff. Just have no clue where to even start with this stuff.
Edit: Should say right now I'm looking at the Poco F8 Ultra but still trying to find out if it'll work well with T-Mobile.
I'm trying to find a new phone without only looking at the main brands for the US and the F8 pro and F8 ultra caught my eye thanks to even the ultra not being much more expensive on Amazon than the S25 I was looking at for Samsung. The Amazon listings I saw for both the pro and ultra do say they work with T-Mobile but I know there is a difference between technically working and working well so figured I'd ask here.
I'm looking into getting a new phone and I'm trying to stay open minded to brands that aren't Samsung, Apple, or Google. I haven't seen much talking about how the global versions do and just that the Chinese ones can be iffy on network compatibility.
I'm wanting to upgrade my monitor but I'd rather get a gpu that can handle what I want before I get it. Right now I have the 6800 and it does amazing at 1080p but gets iffy with modded Skyrim and the like at 1440p
My zfold 3 is dying and I'm torn between getting a new normal phone or a refurbished zfold 6. I get plenty of use out of the inner screen as is but I've had problems with the back falling off since I got it and just want to be sure if I go that route I won't have similar kinds of issues.
My z fold 3 is dying and I'm looking for a new phone in the 600-700$ range. What I mean by real world is stuff like the 15r has a better battery on paper but I know a heavier os or the better cpu may counter that.
