I ordered a non-CM4 so it comes faster in Jan and was recently told it should be shipping out this month. I should have bought the CM5 last year as the 16GB lite is now $300+ depending on the site.
Would the CM4 8GB sufficient and worth buying? I'm looking to get into SDR and have read a bunch of different opinions on this. Not sure which way to go on this.
Using RAK 4631 with an Alpha AOA-915-5ACM antenna, MakerFabs solar MPTT charger with 5w panel (not the 1w it came with), and two 18650s. I added the RAK1906 Bosch BME680 environmental sensor and RAK12500 u-blox ZOE-M8Q GPS module.
The 1w panel was PH2.0, but didn't do well with charging so I bought the 5w panels with 90° female USB-C to male 5.5mm X 2.1mm barrel jack. Added a breather screw also.
For now be got it low on the pole for testing, but I'll be moving it farther up once I'm happy with it.
