I love thought experiments and imagining alternate scenarios, especially when I'm sick and can't do much else. This time my thoughts drifted towards Three Houses, especially the Agarthans.

It's been like forever that I played the game while watching scenes, therefore a considerable amount of deep knowledge has been temporarily lost. Question is, are there any arguments against the purely evil stigma they got from the church? I know there isn't much to begin with but maybe someone can enlighten me. And, obviously, I don't talk about the group acting during the game's story. Furthermore, I never played Three Hopes and therefore don't know if there's any new information in this game but I take spoilers.

Game just popped up under "recommendations" in the Playstation store. I've heard about the franchise before but never played any of the games. It's cheap and the battle system looks interesting but I'd like opinions.

Also, are those games connected to each other or are they stand-alone? Because, AFAIK the other games don't have voice acting and I hate to play JRPGs, even retro ones, that are entirely devoid of any spoken word.
