Poor Keith.

Poor Keith.

It's quite sad how Magath mentioned that both him and Keith will be remembered as heroes that saved the world, which they were. However unlike Magath, nobody really saw Keith in action. He was pretty quiet about it, nobody got to tell if he was there to begin with. quiet and deadly. He especially carried lots in the pier battle. If it weren't for him, they would've never have made it. Yet he still won't be remembered. Literally each other's parallels.

(Also mappa got the old Odm gear design wrong! lol)

I mean, I get that he's just been making his way to the peer, trying to hide himself from all the yeagerists. But it's been explicitly shown that the yeagerists totalled around 100 defecting scouts, with some other cells within other regiments. But they can't be everywhere at once. They just circle around Floch. (Not to mention that they were all supposedly killed in the fight against Marley, but they somehow re-emerged once more.)

So, back to the main point.

It's a shame that we didn't get to witness more of his brilliant well written character. Him getting just 40 seconds or less of screen time before sacrificing himself was just not it. He could've accomplished a few things here and there prior to that.

And this just doesn't only apply to Keith. Many other characters were just brushed over, as if they've never even existed to begin with. Much like everyone within the garrison regiment and the MPs minus Pixis and Nile.

Everyone could've just done something.

Many notable characters like Kitz, Rico, Anka Rheinberger, and many others that Yams forgot all about were shamefully wasted in my opinion, getting the Moblit treatment.

We know for sure that their health starts declining severely, much like what happens with Ksaver and Uri. However, that's about it.

Eren Kruger for example and Zeke were shown to be exactly fine, even though they were both in their 13th year.

Not sure if it's titan based, but do they like. die instantly the moment they make the 14th year. It doesn't really sit straight.

So, if you're familiar with AOT, you'd also be familiar with its best OVA in my opinion, Ilse's notebook.

HOWEVER. This OVA takes place in the year 848, with Ilse and her squadron being stranded outside the walls near some castle ruins during expedition number 34. Here's where contradictions avail however, from the anime we know that the wall was breached in the year 845, roughly 3 years before the 34th expedition. THING IS. We know for sure that after the wall's been breached, no expeditions took place beyond wall Maria. They all happened within it.

Not to mention that her notebook was recovered in the year 849 by Hange and squad Levi in the 49th expedition. How could they've just gone past wall Maria several times despite it being full of titans, and how come in just one year they've done that many expeditions. lol

Could it be that Erwin just began pumping them up one after the other after he's taken charge.

Keep in mind that her notebook was way ahead of wall Maria, near the castle ruins which exist in every aot map, Y'all can look them up.
