With US troops operating from hotels in the Mideast, it bears mentioning that the Israeli government's excuse for murdering tens of thousands of small children in Gaza was that they were in the vicinity of Hamas fighters. That was obviously a pretext for genocide—but the hypocrisy remains shocking.

This video captures the confrontations between demonstrators and DHS mercenaries at the ICE facility in Portland, Oregon during the March 28 No Kings demonstrations.

Demonstrators repeatedly forced open the metal gate of the ICE facility, which is guarded by federal agents who have been brutalizing Portland locals on a regular basis since mid-2025—including tear-gassing children.

Local and state police moved in to protect the facility, showing their complicity with ICE. Nonetheless, the demonstrators did not back down.
