For about 8 months I have been taking the twirla birth control patch. Recently I went to the ob and she suggested changing to the lo loestrin pill due to issues I had with the patch sticking and rashes. This week was my “period” week (so I’ve put on patches the last 3 weeks and do not have one on this week), will I be immediately able to have unprotected sex, should I wait a week, or should I wait until I have finished my first pack of lo loestrin?
