Imagine there is X amount of the most enriched uranium possible in a perfect configuration/shape. If by magic you could make that mass become 8 times more massive in an instant, is there any scenario where it would go supercritical and explode?

For context my friends and i are nerds who play Dungeons & Dragons and the thought crossed our minds to try making a crude nuclear bomb in our role playing game. Theres a magic spell which can make an object instantly twice the size and eight times more massive. Would this instant change in mass make the most ideal uranium go hypercritical?

If so what amount is X?
