Key fob problems
So recently I have started having troubles with my key fob for my bronco. I would get put of the car, and go to lock it and nothing would happen. They key fob does not lock. After fiddling and pressing the alarm button it would start working again. Same issue would arrive if I parked, locked (if it was working) then left and came back it would not unlock with fob.
This at first was very rare. But now it happens almost every time I get out and I am unable to regain connection. The fob still turns the truck on however even though it will not unlock the truck.
Things I have tried include,
• Replacing the Fob battery
• Pressing the lock and unlock buttons and holding until headlights flash
Things I will try today
• Disconnecting the battery for a hard reset
• Trying my other fob at the house (I am at work)
Has anyone ran into this issue before? What fixed it if you did?
