I resigned with 3 month's notice. Two months before I leave my job gets advertised with a much better title. The job description is my role exactly no additions.
I was repeatedly told that I couldn't get an engineer title as my engineering degree wasn't an engineering degree specifically accredited by the Engineering Council. I had to be a technician. Now the job spec degree requirement is "A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience in a product development or R&D environment".
I recently got engineer/senior engineer job offers at prestigious firms so I can't say it's hurt my career but I feel so wildly pissed off.
Is it worth asking for my title to be changed for the last 2 months, or even retrospectively changed for future references?
