A question as a teacher of A &P
I teach a high school sports medicine program and have this idea for an ongoing activity to learn muscle actions (any maybe origins and insertions, but it’s HS level and don’t want to go too deep).
I was thinking of dividing the muscles into regions and creating a March madness type bracket with each muscle going head to head with another.
The idea is that we would focus on two to three match ups per week, and students would need to learn about each muscle and then somehow a muscle from each pair would advance.
The only thing is I can’t figure out is how to make a muscle a “winner”. Since there isn’t inherently a better or worse muscle, since they all serve their own purpose. Maybe just like rock paper scissors or a coin flip after the muscles are discussed?
Any thoughts on this? Not sure if this is the right group to post.
