Hi everyone,
I’m an Ontario Canadian living in Mexico full-time and I’m looking into becoming a travel advisor through a host agency.
Right now I’m leaning toward either Trevello or Fareconnect, but I’m struggling to figure out which would be the better fit for someone completely new to the travel industry.
My background is mainly social media/content creation and online business for the last 15 years, so I’d likely focus heavily on online marketing and Mexico travel content rather than traditional sales methods.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
support/training for beginners
commission structure
monthly fees
how much freedom there is with branding/social media
whether either is better for someone living outside Canada full-time
Would love honest opinions from people who have worked with either company — especially newer agents. Thanks!
