Can someone please help

Ive tried matches vs computer
Ive tried training
Ive tried YT vids

I cant defend online. What happens

I want to switch to MF to defend as ai picks wrong person or defender
When defender is last man back they can never tackle
Wingers are getting arial passes up to them and just bombing past me cutting inside and scoring
Defenders passing out always pass to the other teams
Yet when i try any of the above attacking, every online team i face is able to tackle

Surely i cant be only one?
