Recently lost the motor and had the engine assessed at the dealership. Had it been the result of a recall, a bearing issue, warranty would cover a new motor.
The results say it was a piston, not a bearing.
Warranty is 10 yrs or 200k km.
Oil changes never skipped, one female owner.
How can they deny warranty coverage at 158k if properly maintained with receipts?
For comparison, my first car was a Suzuki Swift and sold it at 358k km.
