Myself and partner planning a January road trip in Australia. We're thinking on doing the east coast unless we find a better route.

We have heard there is a fly situation in Oz and wondering what it's like on the east coast this time of year? We're planning on hitting coastal and more inland areas.

We would love to do Uluru and Coober Pedy while there but I think that will be out of the question with heat / fly's and being off season everything will probably be closed?
