So here's my situation. I have a 1.5 year gap and CAT 2025 didn't get me into a Tier 1 B-school.
I'm preparing for it again.
The job market right now is brutal — I've been applying but nothing's converting. In the meantime, my dad connected me with someone he knows who runs a small business, and I've been getting monthly salary from them to show that as a proof of work ex.
My question is — would it be okay to list this as work experience on my B-school applications for the next few months until I land something at an MNC/ decent company (which I'm actively pursuing)?
I know it's not a "conventional" job, but the salary is documented. Just not sure how AdComs view this kind of informal work ex, or if it could backfire.
Also another doubt that I have is if I can remove these few months at the time of sip and placements.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Would really appreciate honest advice.
