Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well. I am planning to visit the UK and England during about mid-late July- lasts week of August (ik it’s gonna be painful but I had no choice) and was wondering if going to Alton towers is ever worth it or not? I can go basically any day within that time frame but I’ve heard terrible stories and really don’t know what to do. I was also considering thorp park but I’d rather go to Alton towers cuz I haven’t gone on any big and scary rides yet. Any advice and personal experiences would help. Also, what is the best way to go through Alton towers without facing the big and harsh queues, the park is massive and overwhelming just by looking at the map.
