I was given labetalol for hypertensive crisis that wouldn't get better. When I was in the hospital they had me doing 100mg 2x a day, but it made me so dizzy they let me drop down to 50mg 2x a day. My bp has been mostly stable. I've been having worse anxiety due to some family stress that now resolving, but my pots symptoms have gotten so much worse and my tachycardia isn't cooling off, if anything it's flaring up so much worse. My bp has been 110s-140s/70-90s (mostly somewhere in between those numbers), but my hr in my sleep has been much higher than it usually gets.

While sleeping it's normally avg around 60s and very seldom does it increase much aside from when I'm maybe sick. It stays within my normal range of 50s-70s. It's now been avg 70s-80s and sometimes popping up to 110s while I'm sleeping.

My tachycardia and palpitations have been no joke while I'm awake to the point I can hardly even shower, even when using my shower stool and aids to make it easier. Normally when using the shower stool its stayed in the 120s but recently it's been in the 150s-60s, and this applies to everything.

Yeah I get tachy all the time, but it's not this severe or prolonged. Im just kind of confused how this can be happening when I'm on a mediation that should be making it lower, and it is lowering my bp, just not my heart rate and my symptoms are probably worse than they've ever been.

I do have an appointment with my PCP on Friday and then in a week or so I have an appointment with a new pots specialist since my current cardio knows virtually nothing about pots and dismissed this when I brought it up.
