Hello everyone, i was thinking about space for a while and i got kinda a theory that it may already existed but let me say it.
So why are we saying the universe is expanding, in my opinion it might be not, in the observable universe we say it's expanding while it may not be, it might be just an illusion from light itself because as you know the universe is a spacetime fabric and what inside it is the Galaxies, stars and etc. And those things emit light, and even though light is the fastest thing we know, it still takes time to reach other galaxies. Since everything is in constant motion, for me the universe isn't expanding, it's just light reaching farther into the spacetime fabric, which creates the illusion of expansion in our observable universe.
And as for what is holding our universe together, people talk about dark energy but for me, what if the spacetime fabric itself IS the dark energy? That's what keeps everything together and that's why we can't detect it directly.
Thank you for reading, I was just wondering, I'm still 18, bye
