Flare from missed dose

I've been on weekly Simlandi 2 months now and feeling so much better. Last week my specialty pharmacy called to set up my next package. Sent Thursday to be delivered Friday. I said fine, I've got a dose for Friday, all good. Until I checked the package and I left the empty box in the refrigerator. OK, I'll just take it when it gets delivered, no biggie. Never came. Specialty pharmacy closed weekends. By Sunday I'm feeling the missed dose. Box delivered today, naturally no good as the ice was melted and it was warm. Called the pharmacy and they are sending another one and doing a claim I guess against FedEx. She said I could take a dose as I'm having a flare and its good for 2 weeks out of refrigerator. I really hope this doesn't derail my progress and I wonder why we can't just pick these up at a normal pharmacy. That's my vent for this Monday, now I'm going to bed 🤣🤣🤣

56F here, diagnosed AS and RA 12/24 after about 10 years of pain. On weekly Simlandi shots and doing much much better. I have this one spot right over my right si joint that hurts really bad. Had a 4 month checkup with rheumatologist past Tuesday and when I mentioned it to him and he looked at it and pressed, he said it was rope like and most likely soft tissue. Heat and tens unit do help but it keeps coming right back. Waiting for a referral and authorization for PT. I do have acupuncture coverage but having issues finding one that accepts insurance that isn't 200 miles away. Been trying stretches and working on it with a foam roller and tennis ball but holy pain.

Not asking for medical advice but wondering if trigger points are more common in people with autoimmune conditions and if there is anything else I can try. I'm on my feet all day at work, if that matters. Thanks

I was up at 3 am unable to sleep and scrolling Instagram. I came upon a post from axstv about Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars and his battle with AS. He started having issues as a teenager and was finally diagnosed at 27, right as the band hit it big. One thing he said that really resonates with me was holding on to a door frame and just stretching back trying to get something to pop to feel some relief. He's now 74 and pretty much retired and fused. Now I saw Motley Crue many times through the years and never would have thought anything was wrong with his back.

I also read about the lead singer of Imagine Dragons having AS. Never saw them so I can't say anything about that.

Meanwhile I'm at a concert struggling to stand and these guys are jumping around on stage for hours
